There were more speakers, but these are the three I managed to record: Mark Devlin, Dan Astin Gregory and Louise Creffield. They were the last three to speak before the march started.
Oxford City Council is one of many local authorities in the UK, and around the world, that are seeking to control when and how people travel around their own cities. In the case of Oxford, the council is seeking to divide the city into districts and wishes to control the number of times residents can leave their district by car each year. Fines are proposed for those who exceed their 'allowance'. The barriers are already going up.
