If you're not keeping track of all the different Big Muff variations, it's the orange one.

It originally used to be a regular Big Muff Pi in its patented large silver box released in 1978, and labeled a "V4" variation. The difference is that the "V4" used one less gain stage and had op-amps instead of transistors. It was in production for a couple years until 1980 and then the curiosity of the pedal re-emerged in the '90s with Billy Corgan's use of it on The Smashing Pumpkins 1993 2nd album, "Siamese Dream". Fast-forward to around 2017 and Electro-Harmonix made the Op-Amp Big Muff Pi, a re-release of the original Big Muff Pi V4.
