Tragic news: Duangpetch 'Dom' Promthep, one of the Thai soccer players rescued from the cave in 2018, died this week in England.

Adul, a teammate who was sponsored through Compassion, posted this heartwarming tribute:

"Rest in peace my bro, Dom. As you yourself might have a lot of questions like we all do that why do you have to apart from us at this early age, we are sorry to say that none of us knows the reason why. Me myself is even hard to believe that this is real although I wish this was just a dream. We miss you Dom, we all really do. We’ve been through a lot together, and I know that you were a brave young man. You were kind, sweet and gentle. I loved speaking with you too. I was so happy every time you texted me and asked for help about English. I really enjoyed helping you, and I was always waiting for more questions from you. I will pray for you and for your family that may God bless all of you. Farewell, Dom. I will forever miss you here."
