Among the puberty blocker drugs prescribed to children was Bicalutamide, which is used to treat prostate cancer.
Bicalutamide has a wide range of side effects, including liver toxicity, which was experienced by a 15-year-old boy at the gender clinic.

After raising ethical questions at the gender clinic, Reed was told to "get on board, or get out."
The former manager at the Washington University Transgender Centre chose the latter.
