American Top 40 from February 15th 1986. Whitney Houston knocks off "That's What Friends Are For" to score her 3rd #1 with "How Will I Know" and also her 4th Top 5 in a row.
This Week there's 6 songs debuting, "Let's Go All the Way" by Sly Fox (#7), "How to Be a Millionaire" by ABC (#20), "Another Night" by Aretha Franklin (#22), "R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A. (#2), "What You Need" by INXS (#5), "This Could Be the Night" by Loverboy (#10).
Casey tells a unique story of how ZZ Top's Worldwide Texas Tour that literally felt like the Texas desert with all kinds of animals like buffaloes, steers, buzzards, rattlesnakes, etc. An AT40 Extra on Janis Joplin hitting #1, 5 months after her tragic overdose, "Me & Bobby McGee" in 1971... Crazy Story if you ask me. The #26 song, "Russians" was used as a LDD from 2 12-year-old kids. Only thing i can say about that is... FAKE NEWS IMO! 2nd LDD is finding love while saving lives... One Word, AMAZING!
