Lion trying to attack baby at zoo

This male lion pounced as soon as we put our 10-month-old daughter down in front of the glass alone. She is oblivious, but he seems pretty serious! At one of the largest zoos in the world, chaos broke out in the lion enclosure. One of the zookeepers had accidentally entered the domain of the king of the jungle and the animal had taken it as an invitation to attack, leaving visitors and staff scared for their lives.

The lion was one of the stars of the zoo and was kept in a large indoor enclosure, accessible by human visitors and staff. On this particular day, a zookeeper accidentally opened one of the doors, allowing the lion to enter the previously human-only area.

When the lion stepped outside, it soon became aware that it was in unfamiliar territory and this stirred up its natural instincts to hunt. It spotted the closest human, who happened to be the zookeeper that opened the door, and began to stalk them.
