Studies find half of Americans believe news outlets intend to mislead, misinform in their reporting

According to an annual report released Wednesday by Gallup and the Knight Foundation, half of Americans believe news organizations intend to mislead and misinform with their reporting. The studies calculated that only 26% of Americans hold a favorable view of U.S. news media.
