let's talk about money | how i afford to live this way

Finance is one of those things none of us can really avoid, but people get cagey when it comes to talking about how they make money. Luckily, I do think that is changing, especially as alternative lifestyles continue to become more acceptable and popular. I wanted to add my version of reality to the narrative, in hopes that it might contribute to the "outside-the-box mentality people are bringing to life. My situation is unique and a reflection of my own personal choices, and probably doesn't reflect reality for anyone else- but that's kind of the point, right?
