FDU WMA Club Meeting VIII: IMA ft. WMA Club President and IMA Campus Ambassador, Jack Mitchell

Our third meeting will be on Thursday at 4 PM in the Mansion Room 12/Dickinson Hall Room 1104/Zoom (For Zoom link, click on our link in our bio)/WMA Club Socials where we will have our very own WMA Club President & IMA Campus Ambassador, Jack Mitchell from IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) will come and speak to us. Jack Mitchell is a Junior Accounting Major at FDU Silberman College of Business. He is involved in numerous clubs at FDU Silberman. He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi: Nu Sigma, Accounting Society, Marketing Club, Finance Club, CFA Club. He is also a member of the FDU Silberman Dean’s Student Advisory Board and an e-board member of the Student Management Investment Fund Club. Plus, he is the President of the Wealth Management Advisory Club. On top of that, he was FDU Silberman’s Team Captain in the 2022 Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge. He has also achieved certifications ranging from Bloomberg to Social Media and he is the recipient of the CMA Scholarship. Outside of FDU Silberman, he is a member of NJCPA, AICPA, NJCPA Morris/Sussex Chapter, NJCPA Student Programs & Scholarships Committee, AICPA NJ Chapter, AGA, AGA North New Jersey Chapter, AFA, EMA, IFAC, NASP, PASA, Young CPA Network, IMA, and IMA Morris/Essex Chapter, He is also a Campus Ambassador for UWORLD Roger CPA & CFA, NJCPA, IMA, Centered, Collegiate World, CareerVillage, Buddi, and World College Poker. He is also not only the Director of Buddi’s Campus Ambassador Program, but also the Chief Operating Officer at Buddi. He interned with Withum in Tax Verification in Spring 2022 and Deloitte in Audit and Assurance in Summer 2022. He is interning once again at Withum in Financial Services Audit and will be interning with Wiss & Co in Summer 2023 in Audit & Assurance.
