One of things I've concentrated on the last few years is exercising for the specific purpose of back maintenance. Primarily a yoga program to create and maintain a healthy spine.

I've done a lot of aerobics and weight training lately, but I let my back maintenance yoga lapse.

In August I paid the price...I herniated a lumbar disc and the price was over a week of pain.

Lesson learned, and I'm back to my back maintenance yoga routine.
