Suicide Solution read by Pastor Rapture

Written by Rhodes and Osbourne (1980) A poem about a man drinking himself to death. It doesn't convey his willingness to do so or if he is suffering from addiction. It seems that he is content to do so. No different than my uncle who after being diagnosed with lung cancer continued to smoke. Smoked right on through his chemo and on the day he died one of the last things he did was have a smoke. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves. Smoking, drinking, living on top of an oil deposit spill next to a refinery, to many laps around a nuclear reactor, naval asbestos exposure or exposure to carcinogenic hydraulic fluid............I believe that I have gone too far..."Suicide is slow with liquor" is one of the top reasons I quit drinking 12 years ago.
