The East Palestine Train Wreck Government indifference & media hypocrisy

Was there anything East Palestine could have done to prevent this wreck from being as bad as it was? Talk about hypocrisy! The local media and government were in completely support of putting a toxic waste incinerator in a city 17 miles south of East Palestine that burns even worse things every day.
