Hungarians protested against the liberal government after the 2006 elections. Back when it was the same actors but the opposing actors were stronger. The foreign leftwing controlled the entire media and government, many in the pockets of western NGOs including Soros.

The protests occurred due to leaked whistleblower audio of the former PM stating they lied to the people. Police beatings were before this were unheard of. Riot police were said to have been imported from Israel and used to violently crush the riots.

The protests gave Orban’s party overwhelming widespread popularity and in the following elections, he won in a landslide in 2010. The last violent protests in Hungary were in 2006, while under Orbán’s leadership, none have been violent.
