Over the course of Disney’s showcase event D23, the world learned of more details about upcoming projects from Marvel such The Thunderbolts and Secret Invasion, as well as more details about upcoming Star Wars projects little Ahsoka, none of which really made any waves. What did make waves, hot on the heel of Pinocchio, was the reveal trailer for Disney’s latest live action remake of an animated classic that did not need a remake, namely the Little Mermaid!

With more than a million dislikes on the trailer, you can rest assured “The Playbook” is ready to be deployed.
