Today we are going to dig into the Nicaraguan Cordoba, the currency of this central American county. Currently valued at C$36.6 to $1USD the country uses both currencies in practice, but only the Cordoba is official. ATMs will dispense both and many expats attempt to work completely from US dollars, but better prices and more options exist to those who switch to the local currency.
