Police: Suspect dead in Michigan State University shooting, multiple people killed

Police said early Tuesday morning a suspect in an active shooter situation at Michigan State University was located off campus and had died from an apparent "self-inflicted gunshot wound." Campus police declared the campus threat free and lifted a shelter-in-place order enacted Monday night as police searched for the suspect they said was on foot.
