Wood Turning: #lovingcup

This is the February #project from Steve at SK Krafts. #lovingcup
I turned a simple mug shape from a piece of juniper, then applied a couple of different techniques for the design. Laser engraving for the heart and quote; and chameleon flakes gilded over the heart and band. The handles were cut and shaped from a piece of maple in the shape of a heart, and then stained to closely resemble the color of the juniper sap wood.
