Egypt Takes A Giant Step To Beat Dollar Shortage By Joining the NBD!

Egypt has joined the #BRICS group and its development bank, the New Development Bank (#NDB), to benefit from its financial and technical assistance for sustainable development, infrastructure, health, transportation, water and telecommunications. MP Ahmed El-Awadi says this represents a step in fighting the dollarization phenomenon and opens new markets for #Egypt's agricultural and industrial products. MP Mervat Mattar says this will reduce demand on US #dollars and open new horizons of economic cooperation with the BRICS group.
