Skipper Kevin Escoffier and his Team Holcim - PRB have won Leg 2 of The Ocean Race from Cabo Verde to Cape Town after a tense battle through the final miles of the raceThis is the second consecutive leg win for Escoffier and his team, who maintain a perfect record, and extend their advantage on the race leaderboard. The teams are in Cape Town until 26 February when the longest leg in the history of the race - 12,700 nautical miles to Itajai, Brazil starts. The Ocean Race is often described as the longest and toughest professional sporting event in the world, sailing’s toughest team challenge, and one of the sport’s Big Three events, alongside the Olympic Games and America’s Cup.
