And the rest is history.
Do you know where your can of spiritual energizer is? Have you reached for it lately in a time of need? Could it be that we need to refresh ourselves and practice taking our spiritual vitamins?
The scriptures tell us that the word of God is medicine, something that will help us recover and be healthy. It also tells us that the word of God is a sword that will defend us in times of battle.
That's a spiritual energizer. The word of God is a shield to us when the storms come in because we can go into that protection and be safe.
The writer of the Psalms tells us that the word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light to our pathway. It gives us traveling, mercies, and protection along the way.
So today, as we look around and behold the chaos and trouble brewing all around us, we must take our energizer package called the word of God for our protection, guidance, encouragement, and strength. If we do that, we stay faithful to his commandments, and he will defend us and bring us to victory.
