Old WWII bomb explodes unexpectedly in UK seaside town
An old World War II bomb exploded unexpectedly in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth on England’s east coast.
The 250kg device was discovered during dredging work on the River Yare.
No one was hurt in the incident, which pre-empted an army disposal team’s plans for a controlled explosion.
