Bonnet Macaque is a species of Old World monkey found in parts of South and Southeast Asia. They are known for their distinctive appearance, with a tuft of hair on their head that resembles a bonnet, and a short tail.
As you mentioned, Bonnet Macaques are diurnal, which means they are active during the day and rest at night. They are social animals and typically live in groups of 10 to 40 individuals, with a dominant male as the leader.
These monkeys are omnivorous, feeding on a variety of foods such as fruits, seeds, insects, and small animals. They have a complex vocal repertoire, and use a variety of calls to communicate with each other.
