Say NO to toll roads in Tennessee!

After all the talk of transparency from the Speaker of the House and other members of the General Assembly, they are pushing through toll roads before you even get to see the bill!

We’ve discovered that the Governor’s Transportation Modernization Act is being pushed through a caption bill, HB 321.

The Governor calls them “choice lanes.” We call them toll roads. The Governor calls them fees. We call them taxes!

This Republican legislature passed the 2017 IMPROVE Act and raised gas taxes to pay for roads. But now, we get to pay higher taxes AND tolls.
