Motorcycle Gear Wisdom From the Mouth of Babes

My background is in keeping people safe, particularly in teaching them to keep themselves safe. This gives me a slightly odd perspective on moto gear. It's not about what's safest, it's about what you'll actually wear on the ride. Combining the right mindset with gear is better than having one or the other, and having gear you don't like wearing is just a recipe for disaster.

Gear should be comfy, a look you are happy with, and offer appropriate protection for the ride. There is no one simple answer even for a single rider. What you wear on your daily commute in February is not going to be what you wear in May, much less on a trip to the grocery store in August. At least not here in TX.

For those annoyed at the click bait. I never said it was women, I'm a baby when it comes to this stuff, so this is a beginner's perspective. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. lol
