Raw Sewage Dump on Pearl River & Stopping Foreign Investment In Farmland

House of Representatives Becky Currie joins to talk about the city of Jackon dumping waste into the Pearl River and not being fined for it since 2012.

She has written a bill that they will be fined a million dollars every time they do it. This has caused huge problems down the Pearl River, where you cannot swim, fish, or canoe on the river. (50 million gallons of raw sewage has been dumped just from April-June)

Rep. Currie has also written a bill that no agricultural land can be sold to a foreign country, after hearing on the news how much land China is trying to obtain in the U.S. One of the largest chicken and grain companies in Mississippi is owned by communist China.
