What does surfeiting mean?
From Luke Chapter 21 Verse 34
Other Bible translation use the words: self-indulgence, debauchery, carousing, feasting, dissipation.
It essentially means too much of one thing; too much of any one thing.
You may have heard the phrase, "moderation in everything". That is a good maxim. Some have ruined it by stating, 'moderation in everything, including moderation itself" that is both wrong and a recipe for disaster!
It is the desire of God to 'give us the Kingdom'. What is this Kingdom? It is to inherit and enjoy the fruits of the Spirit. These are: Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, Generosity, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. I pray that you will enjoy all these things in your life today and always. 🙂💖
