In this DIY build on a budget video, I am finishing milling the purlins on the Norwood sawmill for the timber frame posts using both modern and traditional hand tools for the construction of the roof on the cabin in the woods of the Great Smoky Mountains. The sawmill makes easy work on the beams that were previously cut into cants and the forged hand tools help refine the final details of the construction.
