In this diy timber framing video, we continue construction of the floor joist and installing angle iron at the joints on the off grid timber frame cabin homestead in the Great Smoky Mountains using both modern and traditional hand tools. Mortise and tenon are the basic frame work on the 7 x 7 post and beam along with the 7 x 10 beams that support the floor joist. It is coming along and the modified extension on the tractor is the key. We hope you will follow us through the final stages of the cabin build, chicken house, root cellar, basecamp and future barn for the homestead.
