During a virtual congressional hearing, former Twitter Executive Vijaya Gadde was grilled by Rep. Nancy Mace at a House Oversight Committee hearing over the company's decision to censor doctors' expert opinions on the coronavirus pandemic. Rep. Mace had received her second vaccine shot and had developed asthma, a tremor in her left hand, and heart pain. Mace asked Gadde why she or anyone else at Twitter had the medical expertise to censor doctors' opinions. Gadde responded that she did not go to medical school. Mace further accused the company of silencing voices from Harvard and Stanford-educated doctors.
