I feed my dogs a raw diet. They eat about a pound and a half of raw meat each day. I've done a lot of cost analysis, and as long as you are smart about it, you can feed them for only a bit more than buying canned food. They need liver and fish oil in their diet for the omega 3 content. Also, when I have egg shells, I feed those to them as well. Hope this helps!
