My method for painting the USMC MARPAT Digital Woodland camouflage pattern on your AR15 using four Duracoat colors.

Note! 3/5/2015: I have released a follow-up video to show how durable my Duracoat paint job is:

Duracoat is an extremely tough paint from Lauer Weaponry; it comes in a slew of outdoorsy and tactical colors (and some insane Bloomberg-friendly neons) that dry flatter than anything I've ever seen. If your goal is to make a rifle or other piece of equipment less apparent in the great outdoors, then a Duracoat camouflage job is a major step up from Krylon or Rustoleum. My goal with this rifle was to re-create the Marine Corps' MARPAT Woodland Digital camouflage pattern, which works extremely well in Eastern Oklahoma.

Necessary supplies:
1. Air Brush
2. Air Compressor (and possible a Regulator)
3. Measuring Spoons
4. Engine Degreaser or Brake Cleaner
5. Laquer Thinner
6. Painter's Mask
7. Eye Protection
8. Impermeable Gloves
9. Contact Paper

Here are some patterns that you can use when trimming the contact paper into blocky shapes:
