The most common powders for treatment of insect infestations are "Gotbac" or "Negasunt" (brand names). They contain certain insecticides, a sulphur-based medication & zinc oxide, respectively. Additional hydrogen peroxide may help as it bubbles up with oxygen after coming in contact with a specific blood protein, thus mechanically foaming/forcing up any foulings.
