The media covered COVID a lot, perhaps too much. Some people today still hesitate to remove their masks in public. The fear instill by reporters looking to attract attention was too much. This was true about the media under Donald Trump and Joe Biden, but it lessened under Biden. The media COVID fear was enough by itself, but unfortunately, it was also accompanied by medical tyranny.
