The WW2 Spy Hero that refused to break | Eileen Nearne

In WW2, Britain was struggling to get a foothold deep into Europe. The Special Operation Executive, colloquially called "Churchill's Secret Army" included a network of spies to swing the tide of war. Eileen Nearne, a mystery to those that knew her, was one such spy and took her secret to the grave.

She was captured at one point and interrogated but refused to break, telling her captors nothing. Eileen and her sister (who was also a spy) helped facilitate the retaking of France and ultimately victory in Europe.
