Gov. Newsom backs bill to place limits on where people can carry a gun in public

Following up on his calls for more gun reform following the mass shootings in Half Moon Bay and Monterey Park, California Governor Gavin Newsom on Wednesday stood by Democratic lawmakers and gun control advocates to lend his support for SB2 -- a proposed bill to strengthen the state's restrictions on who can carry a firearm in public.

"We have more work to do," Governor Newsom said of gun control laws, "And this is part of this effort."

The measure - which was written by State Senator Anthony Portantino (D-La Cañada Flintridge) - would restrict people under 21 from getting a concealed carry permit and also require all permit holders to have more training, including on how to safely handle, store and transport firearms.

Scott, Cornyn, Hagerty, Senate GOP Introduce Concealed-Carry Reciprocity Bill

U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) joined Senators John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.), along with 42 of their Senate colleagues, in introducing the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, which would allow individuals with concealed carry privileges in their home state to exercise those rights in any other state that allows concealed carry, while still abiding by that state’s laws.

“Americans have a constitutional right to protect themselves and their families. That right doesn’t vanish when they travel to other states,” said Sen. Scott. “I’m proud to champion this common-sense legislation, which codifies law-abiding Americans’Second Amendment right while protecting individual states’ ability to choose what is best for their citizens.”

Trudeau kneels down on Bill C-21 provisions but he needs to prostrate

The hunting culture in Canada covers elements of the history of hunting from the pre-colonial era until the present in all parts of Canada. The current dictator in power in Canada was all set to wipe that culture off the country’s fabric. Every fourth household in the country possesses some sort of a firearm and the liberal government took a controversial move of banning even the legal possession of firearm which was sure to garner the ire of the Canadians.

Japanese government offers families 1m yen a child to leave Tokyo

Japan’s government is offering 1m yen ($7,500) per child to families who move out of greater Tokyo, in an attempt to reverse population decline in the regions.

The incentive – a dramatic rise from the previous relocation fee of 300,000 yen – will be introduced in April, according to Japanese media reports, as part of an official push to breathe life into declining towns and villages.

Famous Mr. Rogers song resurfaces in a big way — had he been warning us all along?

Perhaps, Fred Rogers and The Kinks were ahead of the curve when it comes to the transgender fad that’s creating havoc in society today.

A clip of Rogers, of “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood” fame, performing a song he wrote in 1967 is making the rounds on social media and it goes against every concept of radical gender theory widely accepted on the left. And while the video is certain to trigger the LGBTQI+ community, some see it as an early warning against transgenderism.

The lyrics of “Everybody’s Fancy” define the differences between the biological sexes accepted over millennia.

“Boys are boys from the beginning. If you were born a boy, you stay a boy,” Rogers sings. “Girls are girls right from the start. If you were born a girl, you stay a girl, and grow up to be a lady. Everybody’s fancy, Everybody’s fine. Your body’s fancy and so is mine.”
