The Left is "Crazy" Says Sarah Huckabee Sanders in Her Response to SOTU

We are thrilled to have heard Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) give the official Republican response to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Tuesday night (Feb. 7, 2023). She rightly pointed out that the dividing line in America is between normal and crazy. In fact she used the word "crazy" three times. She also used the word "woke" twice.

While pundits are analyzing and parsing both speeches, they seem to be glancing over how Gov. Sanders may have laid the foundation for impeaching President Biden when she said, “President Biden is unwilling to defend our border, defend our skies, and defend our people. He is unfit to serve as commander in chief." I believe this is vitally important and central to his failure to uphold his oath of office. The oath is found in Article II of the U.S. Constitution. It contains 35 words and goes as follows:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Two years into the Biden Administration there is ample and mounting evidence that Biden is failing to uphold his primary duty as president to defend our borders. We hope that Republicans are serious about this when she said, "we will hold the Biden administration accountable."

It was also encouraging to hear Gov. Sanders point out that the Left expects us to "salute their flags, and worship their false idols." She is correct. The godless left not only wants us to salute their flags, they want us to celebrate them. They will not tolerate anything less. Just ask Jack Phillips. Even though he won in 2018 at the U.S. Supreme Court after refusing to make a gay couple’s wedding cake because of his Christian faith, there is a new lawsuit against Phillips because of his rejection of a request for a birthday cake celebrating a gender transition.
