How to Clean and Prepare a Revolver for its First Range Day - Taurus Model 66 357 Magnum

This is my new Taurus Model 66 7-round revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. Prior to my first range session (tomorrow) I will need to clean this firearm thoroughly. Oil, metal flecks, and other junk can lie in wait down that barrel or in any of the seven chambers. In this video I brush and swab the bore, clean out the chambers, lube the moving parts, and put a light oil coat over all of the metal surfaces. Captivating stuff. But if you have a new revolver, you should consider preparing and maintaining your gun in a similar manner.
