Cheektowaga officer undergoes surgery after being hit by suspect during car chase

A Cheektowaga police officer suffered injuries requiring surgery when he was hit by a suspect vehicle during a police chase on Monday morning. As of 4:30 p.m. Monday he was out of surgery and in critical but stable condition.
