Conservative MPs Garnett Genuis (critic for International Development), Stephanie Kusie (critic for the Treasury Board) and Pierre Paul-Hus (Quebec political lieutenant speak with reporters on Parliament Hill about their party's call for the auditor general to conduct an investigation into federal contracts awarded to the consulting firm McKinsey & Company. Conservatives will be moving a concurrence motion in the House of Commons later in the day. The Liberal government has awarded over $100 million in contracts to McKinsey since the party came into power in 2015. Genuis and Paul-Hus also respond to questions about health-care funding and a potential strike by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC). (February 6, 2023)
