On Parliament Hill, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh renews his call for more federal investments in the health-care system. The news conference comes ahead of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s meeting on health care with Canada's premiers on February 7. Singh is joined by JP Hornick, president of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, Angela Preocanin, first vice-president of the Ontario Nurses’ Association, and Michael Hurley, president of the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions.
