Dr. Ann Burgess: The highly-acclaimed Netflix series "Mindhunter," based on the fictional character of Dr. Wendy Carr, is directly off on Ann. She is currently a Boston College Professor of Nursing and a pioneer in assessing and treating trauma victims. She and FBI special agent John Douglas developed a new type of criminal profiling of notorious serial killers years ago. John Douglas wrote about their work in his famous book, "Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit." His book was the basis for the fictionalized Netflix series "Mindhunter," which can still be viewed today.
