2020 Electronic Fire Prevention Week
United States, Virtual Fire Prevention Week 2020, 10.08.2020
In remembrance of the Great Chicago Fire, which started on October 8, 1871, Fire Prevention Week is observed this year from October 4 through 10. The Cherry Point Fire and Emergency Services regularly visit nearby schools during this week to instruct children on how to stay fire safe. Because of COVID-19, Cherry Point Fire and Emergency Services went online to make sure that the community was still informed about how to keep safe in the event of a home fire.
