It’s ‘possible’ Chinese balloon in US may have been testing weapons delivery or sensor system

Former Labor MP Michael Danby says it is “possible” the Chinese balloon taken down by the US military may have been testing weapons delivery or a sensor system.
“The main thing that many military analysts have established is that from that height you establish different things than you do from satellites,” he told Amanda Stoker.
“Coming in at Montana where the Americans have their ICBM bases- intercontinental ballistic missile bases, is very significant.
“Most of Montana is deserted, they could have shot it down there and they should have, and General Milley should get off gender studies and get back to being a sort of a hardline military man.”
