This 50ft/15m garden hosepipe kit from Kejector contains all you need to safely connect any standard tap or faucet and has changed my previously rather fraught experience of watering the garden into a pleasure.

The kit consists of an anti-tangle expanding hosepipe, ten-mode spray head, wall mount, spare sealing rings, waterproof sealing tape, storage bag and a modular tap connector. Build quality seems fine with the tap connector and connector made from what seems to be brass, the tubing from latex core 3750D polyester fabric and the rest from plastic. The only lightweight item is the wall mount which although a bit feeble still seems able to get the job done.

The tap connector comes with threads for both 3/4″ and 1/2 taps. It comes with waterproof tape which can be used to block any leakage and six spare rubber seals, none of which I needed to use. I was able to quickly and easily connect it to my existing push-on tap connector to replace my old hose with a minimum of fuss and bother.

My non-threaded tap uses a push-on connection to which the new hosepipe screwed easily in place. I very gingerly connected it and expected the dripping and water spray that I get from my current setup but in fact, it worked perfectly the first time with no water leakage whatsoever. In the past due to leakages and insecure joints, I have always had to run a hosepipe with the water on low, but not so with this one and I was able to open the tap up to get maximum pressure. I found it again simplicity itself to attach an extension tube to this one again with no spillage or leaks.

The spray head is well marked and easy to use and gives a good and powerful jet. For best use, I found you have to close the valve on the spray end of the hose and gradually increase the water pressure to allow the hosepipe to expand to the full 50ft before opening the valve and using the nozzle which has 10 spray patterns: 1/2 Vert, Center, Full, Flat, Shower, Cone, Jet, Soaker, Angle, and Mist all of which worked well for me.

This is a very high quality medium length hosepipe which comes with a range of accessories and options designed to offer the best possible usage. No reason not to recommend it.
