I told Montana lawmakers why we shouldn't support US intervention in Ukraine or Article 5 of NATO

UPDATE: Only three days after this testimony, the State Department reported that a Chinese spy balloon was spotted in Montana and potentially surveilled our "sensitive nuclear weapons." These are a part of the “nuclear sponge” meant to draw strikes away from DC that I talk about in this video.

A resolution in support of the war in Ukraine and Article 5 of NATO was introduced in a Montana legislative committee on Monday. For some context, the head of NATO's strategy council, Admiral Rob Bauer, said this weekend that NATO is ready for "direct confrontation" with Russia. The US is currently going down a dangerous path, racing toward war on many fronts. Russia, China, Iran, North Korea... It’s not in our interest. We need diplomacy now.

The Montana legislature almost unanimously passed HJ9 opposing endless wars last session—I wrote about it when it happened (https://libertarianinstitute.org/articles/montana-becomes-first-state-to-pass-resolution-against-unconstitutional-wars/)—and the legislature shouldn’t renege on that resolution by passing a statement in favor of another, but much more costly war.
