Starting A New Egg Laying Chicken Flock

We started a new flock of laying hens so that we can produce enough eggs for our farmers market customers. We've got a bunch of new baby chicks in our brooder, and these chickens are growing fast! It's time to upgrade them to a bigger space, so watch the chaos as I try to wrangle some very flighty birds into their new home. I'll explain some of the essentials to designing a good brooder for your chicks, and why we use a double brooder box system to raise our chickens.
