M.U.D.S. is a top-down action sports game that combines rugby, RPG character development, management simulation, and strategy. To achieve victory, players must be the first to score seven goals, or kill enough of the opposing team to secure the win. In M.U.D.S. there are more ways to win: bribing the opposing team, the referee, or the actual ball are all viable strategies for victory.

Developed originally by Golden Goblins and published by Rainbow Arts, M.U.D.S. was released in 1990. The game features 16 cities to visit, 16 unique alien races, and a campaign mode where players must buy, sell, and manage team members.
