FCPD body cam shows deer barely make it across busy highway

The Fairfax County Police Department posted a scary video on Friday of a deer running across a busy highway trying to avoid cars.

In the video, police look to be trying to catch the deer to bring it to a safer place, but that's when it decided to run full speed into oncoming traffic.

In the tweet, FCPD jokingly said, "The lengths some will go to get out of a ticket walking on a highway is a small fine and very dangerous." Police also confirmed the deer was not seriously injured.
