Yugoslav M70B1 Assault Rifle (Kalashnikov )

A magazine of 7.62x39mm ammo is fired from a select fire M70B1, a Kalashnikov variant made by Zastava of Yugoslavia. The M70B1 is a stamped receiver AK variant, similar to the Soviet AKM, and is distinctive with it's light colored teak furniture and rubber butt pad. The stamped receiver of the Yugo rifles is made from 1.5mm steel instead of the 1mm of the Soviet AKM, making the rifle receiver stiffer but heavier.
Note that this firearm belongs to a federally licensed museum. The museum is authorized under their license conditions to possess the firearm in it's live condition, with original capacity magazines, and they are also also authorized to conduct demonstration firing.
