Canada: Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre reacts to withdrawal of Liberal amendments to firearms bill

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre reacts to news that the Liberal government is withdrawing amendments to its firearms bill (C-21) that would have expanded the list of illegal firearms in Canada. He is joined at the news conference on Parliament Hill by Conservative public safety critic Raquel Dancho. The announcement was made during a meeting of the House of Commons public safety committee earlier in the day. The Conservative leader also responds to questions on his proposed policies should he ever form government and reports of an alleged Chinese surveillance balloon that crossed over into Canadian airspace.
